The people who paid for the printing.

Old books carried a page like this one. Before a printing run, readers put money in up front, and their names went in the front of the book they had paid to make. This is that page.

Who pays for this

Nobody funds this. There is no company behind it, no investors, no ads, and nothing in the app calls home. It is one Dungeon Master on Long Island building the tool he wanted at his own table, and paying for it out of pocket.

Two things keep it going. People buy Keepers, the adventures, tables and packs that drop into the binder. And people become Patrons, or donate.

What a Patron gets

A Patron pays $25 once. It unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked. Gnasher's Grimoire is free today and it stays free, and there is no tier that opens a feature you already have sitting on your disk. What the $25 buys is art. Icons and covers get commissioned from artists, and this is what pays for them. It buys three other things too:

• Your name on this page.
• The patrons' room in the LIDM Discord, where I answer first.
• A vote that counts on what gets forged next.

If you would rather buy a Keeper than put your name in a book, buy the Keeper. That helps just as much.
